Under Mauritian law, non-citizens can obtain their residence permits, in particular, by acquiring a luxury residential real estate valued at a minimum of USD 375,000 in designated real estate projects. These include the Integrated Resort Scheme (IRS), Real Estate Scheme (RES), Property Development Scheme (PDS) – which has replaced the IRS and RES schemes but still allows acquisition of units available under IRS and RES – Invest Hotel Scheme (IHS), Smart City Scheme (SCS) and Ground+2 Apartment Scheme (G+2)
